XLOC is a powerful Content Management System (CMS) dedicated to the development of global video games. It is used to manage language assets, including text, audio and art, throughout the multilingual game development process. By storing, analyzing and tracking the evolution of source and localized game assets during the course of development, XLOC acts as a key production tool to enable all global team professionals involved in the development process to collaborate and visualize the status of multilingual assets at any time. As a result, the localization cycle can be seamlessly connected to the source content, production cycle, pushing to translation just the new and updated content, saving precious time and resources, and eliminating repetitive tasks and the errors caused by the manual tracking of assets.

This User Manual is based on the default settings and configuration of a project. However, customization plays an enormous role in XLOC’s day to day life. Thus, please keep in mind that most of the features and options described can be customized if a need for such adaptation arises.
